Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer PORCA DE MURÇA
Here is a youthful, well-structured, Douro blend of 50% Touriga Nacional and 50% mostly old vine Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz. It has an extremely deep intense purple colour. with a sightly spicy, gently rustic, sandalwood-driven nose with some ripe warm plum-cherry notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied and well structured, the slightly spicy, bright, ripe plum-cherry flavours are followed up with a lingering, gently oaky, somewhat tangy, sandalwood finish. It has 14% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar with lot number LD20022 on the back label. It still needs time - try with grilled meats and sausages. CSPC 684753
