Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer J. DENUZIÈRE
This intense, complex, slightly smoky 100% Shiraz hits the mark. It has a bright deep intense purple colour and a beguling, floral-tinged, rosehip-tinged nose with some faintly smoky, ripe, violet-raspberry-plum fruit. It is dry, medium bodied, well structured and yet very smooth on the palate with gently tangy, plummy-crancherry fruit and some faintly exotic, spicy, notes on the lingering, fairly dense finish. Classy, ripe and ready-to-drink - don’t hesitate. Aas 13.5% alcohol and 2.3 g/L residual sugar. CSPC 667485

TASTING NOTE: What should be a good value, the 2018 Crozes-Hermitage J. Denuzière has a classic, medium bodied, ripe, meaty style that just screams of the Northern Rhône. Deep purple and loaded with blue fruits and floral notes, it's a peppery, exotic, solid effort to enjoy over the coming 7-8 years. Maturity: 2020-2028.
