Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer CAVE DE ROQUEBRUN
This could be/should be a Customer Favourite! This tasty, ready-to-drink, ready-to-drink new blend of 45% Syrah, 35% Grenache and 20% Mourvèdre has a deep intense purple colour. The nose is attractive, rather juicy and very spicywith ripe plum-cherry puree fruit with some cedary, slightly smoky, faint mocha-chocolate notes. Dry, medium bodied, harmonious, spicy and fairly intense, the ripe, plum-cherry flavours are followed up with a lingering, very faintly herbal, cedary, mocha-chocolate-sandalwood finish. It has 14% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number 20278B on the upper part of the glass bottle. The recommended best buy 2016 (**/**+) was last released on June 23, 2018 at $19.95.
