PREMIÈRE CÔTE CÔTES DU RHÔNE 2019 Unfiltered, AP
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer LA FERME DU MONT
Assessed from a bottle purchased at the LCBO. What a lovely, bright, fresh springtime Rhone that dances on the tongue. The extremely tasty vibrant, fresh, uoaked, unfiltered blend of 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre was recently bottled on Friday, December 4, 2020. And yet it’s totally delicious and quite ready to drink now! Deep purple in colour, the nose is loaded with vibrant, ripe, plummy-raspberry-cherry-cassis fruit along with some minerally, faintly sandalwood notes. Dry, medium bodied, harmonious and slightly spicy, the tangy, ripe, plum-raspberry-black-cherry fruit flavours linger on the palate. Great with roast chicken an ready to enjoy today, it has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L120339/1 on the lower part of the glass bottle. CSPC 251645
