TROCKEN PINOT NOIR ROSÉ 2019 Qualitätswein
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer KÖNIGSCHAFFHAUSER VULKANFELSEN
This crowd-pleasing 100% Pinot Noir from Baden has a bright light salmon pink colour. It’s slightly spicy, faintly honeyed and bright with a ripe red apple purée nose with some mineral notes. Slightly off dry, light bodied, spicy, ripe, apple-plum-rosehip-raspberry purée flavours with a crisp, unoaked finish. Ready-to-drink and perfect to toast the arrival of Spring. It has a surprising hefty 13.5% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar with lot number APN 030/132/120 on the front label. Screwcap closure. The 2018 appeared in Vintages in July 20, 2019. CSPC 168237

TASTING NOTE: The vineyard name, Vulkanfelsen, refers to the volcanic soils that are a significant element of Baden's composition. This rosé will be elegant but possess a serious intensity and flavour, with rosehips, red cherry, apple, grapefruit and red plum in a juicy, tangy package. Pair with salmon burgers or sip and savour.
