Assessed from a bottle purchased at the LCBO. Very deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, somewhat earthy, complex, intense, ripe, plum-cassis-red-cherry nose with some savoury, faintly dusty, sandalwood-cedar notes. Dry,nedium-full bodied and well structured with intense, fairly dense, slightly baked, ripe plum-cherry-cassis flavours are followed with a lingering, faintly earthy, complex, mouthfilling, cedary finish. This blend of 60% Mavrodafni and 40% Mavro Kalavritino was aged for 31 months in oak - 85% French and 15% American. Has 14.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L18212 on the back label. Only 10,000 bottles produced. The preferred best buy 2013 (***/***+) with 95-points was released on April 4, 2020 at $29.95. CSPC 466110
