Assessed from a bottle provided by the agent. Deep intense purple colour. Intense, very spicy, faintly clove-tinged, ripe, plummy-crancherry nose with some cedary notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, quite well structured, spicy, fairly tangy, intense, ripe, plummy-cherry flavours with a lingering, somewhat peppery, fairly cedary finish. This new robust blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 3% Petit Sirah, 1% Cabernet Franc and 1% Malbec has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number 2001 on the lower part of the glass bottle.
