Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer FEUDO ARANCIO
Assessed from a bottle purchased at the LCBO. Very deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, bright, youthful, straightforward, plum apple nose. Fairly dry, medium to medium-light bodied, spicy, tangy, plum-apple-cherry flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, still fresh, somewhat grippy, savoury finish. This Sicilian Cabernet Sauvignon has 13.5% alcohol and 7 g/L residual sugar with lot number LB0141 on the back label. The 2016 (*+) was released on October 12, 2019 at $15.95. CSPC 10359

This Sicilian take was matured 12 months in French barriques, promising rounded edges and a subtle smokiness.
