Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer MONTE DEL FRÁ
Assessed from a bottle supplied by the agent with lot number L.106 (the one at the LCBO has L.122). Bardolino doesn’t aspire for greatness, but focuses on joyous drinkability. This delicious 2019 (the 12th since 2009) has that in spades and is perfect for immediate consumption by itself or with almost anything! Medium-deep ruby-red colour with an expansive, bright, fairly juicy, ripe plummy nose. It’s fairly dry, medium to medium-light bodied and very slightly spicy with attractive, gently juicy, ripe plum-cherry purée flavours with a crisp, lingering, lifted, chestnut-tinged finish. A versatile, ready-to-drink, crowd-pleaser, this blend of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara has 12.5% alcohol and 8g/L residual sugar with lot number L.106 on the back label. CSPC 134544
