CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2017 Napa Valley
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer NAPA KING RANCH
Assessed from a bottle purchased at the LCBO. This crowd-pleasing, ready-to-drink, ripe, harmonious, Napa Valley Cab Sauv is NEW in Vintages. I tried to track it down on the internet but without success. Itís produced by the Smith-Anderson Wine Group but isnít mentioned on their website. Extremely deep intense purple colour. The nose is quite attractive with lots of ripe plummy-black cherry fruit along some cedary notes. Itís quite dry, medium to medium-full bodied with lots of smooth, ripe, blackberry-cherry-plum fruit and a lingering, gently cedary finish. A crowd-pleaser to be sure, it has 14.5% alcohol and 12 g/L residual sugar with Lot# 6301Ē on the on the back label and 20190523 on the lower part of the glass bottle. CSPC 16460
