Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer Château Lagrézette
Unable to get a bottle for assessment from the agent. A REPEAT of the 2016 (**/**+) was released on March 2, 2019 at $17.95. Here is my previous note: Deep purple colour. Slightly spicy, very juicy, ripe, raspberry-cherry purée nose. Dry, medium-light bodied, spicy, juicy, raspberry plum purée flavours with a lingering, unoaked, fresh finish. This 100% Malbec has 14% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number LB1516060916 on the lower part of the glass bottle. CSPC 645374

TASTING NOTE: Seigneur means lord of the manor, yet this is a modern, smooth style of Malbec. It's packed with fruit as much as tannins. Rich berry flavors laced with crisp acidity yield a wine that is poised and elegant. Drink from 2021. Score - 91 (Roger Voss, Wine Enthusiast, June 1, 2018) Price $ 18.95
