Assessed from a bottle provided by the producer. This lovely winery is a joy to visit - a visual feast. It sits adjacent to the inspiring Spirit Ridge Vineyard Resort & Spa and the outstanding Nk'Mip Desert Cultural Centre - all only 3 km from the US border. This bright medium-deep ruby-purple coloured 100% Pinot Noir has a very attractive, fruity, rose-tinged, black-cherry-cassis nose that is accompanied by some slightly smoky, toasty notes. It’s dry, medium bodied, quite well structured and very slightly spicy with vibrant, bright, gently juicy, ripe but fresh, Damson plum and crancherry flavours followed up by a lingering, fairly high acid, complex, gently smoky, cedary finish. It would be perfection with your holiday turkey! It has 14% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugarwith lot number 190913 on the lower part of the glass bottle. NEW in Vintages. |
