Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer CARABELLA ESTATE
Assessed from a bottle purchased at the LCBO. Here is a small lot of the early ripening, elegantly floral, ready-to-drink 2015 - only 550 cases produced. It has a medium-deep bright red colour and an attractive, slightly spicy, cedar-tinged, floral, ripe, raspberry-tinged, plum-cherry-cassis nose. On the palate itís dry, medium to medium-full bodied, nicely structured and slightly spicy with still youthful, surprisingly fresh, raspberry-plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, cedar-tinged, fairly high acid finish. Has 14.2% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number 20160420 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Only 550 cases produced. CSPC 180125
