Assessed from a bottle purchased at the LCBO. Bright light salmon pink colour. Attractive, slightly spicy, bright, ripe plum-cherry-raspberry nose with some very faint toasty notes. Fairly dry, medium bodied, well balanced, slightly spicy, ripe plum-cherry-raspberry flavours with very good effervescence and a lingering, fairly crisp finish. Ready-to-drink. TASTING NOTE: There's very good value here. This is made Méthode Traditionnelle and opens with fragrant aromas - strawberry, watermelon and wisps of raspberry - and plenty of mousse, a.k.a. froth or bubbles, that form when poured. It's a delight on the palate with lively flavours of red cherry and red berry fruit persisting throughout. It finishes in a blaze of crisp, lip-smacking freshness. Wonderful on its own as an aperitif or party starter, it has the oomph to stand alongside most appetizers. Score - 91 (Vic Harradine, winecurrent.com, Sept. 22, 2019) Price $ 19.95
