Assessed from a bottle purchased at the LCBO. Fairly deep red colour. Spicy, gently cedary, bright, ripe, plummy-cranberry-cherry nose with some herb-tinged, mineral notes. Dry, medium bodied, harmonious, spicy, tangy, ripe plum-cherry flavours with a very crisp, faintly cedary , lingering finish. Has 13.8% alcohol and 4 g/L residual with a screwcap closure. The 2016 (not presented) was released on March 16, 2019 at $29.95. |
