GARDET |
Assessed from a bottle purchased at the LCBO. Bright copper tinged salmon colour. Attractive, fairly intense, slightly spicy, citrusy, ripe, plum-strawberry nose with some faint toasty, mineral notes. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, tangy, very effervescence, flavourful, racy, tangerine-citrus-raspberry-plum flavours with lots of mineral notes. This well integrated blend of 45% Pinot Noir, 45% Menuier and 10% Chardonnay has 12% alcohol and 10 g/L residual sugar with lot number NM197-001 / L-411T1-279G on the back label. NEW in Vintages. |

Tasting Note: This has considerable complexity, with pretty berry, bread and toast notes. Crisp and racy with a delicate, pure mineral note on the finish. Very tasty. Pair with grilled salmon appetizers or allow it to evolve for another 3+ years. (Vintages panel, Oct. 2019) |
