MEZZACORONA PINOT NOIR VIGNETI DELLE DOLOMIT 2018 IGT
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer MEZZACORONA
When I saw a newly-listed non-Vintages Italian Pinot Noir selling for under $15, I simply had to try it! Wow, what a tasty refreshing red for those sultry, hot, humid summer days. It actually tastes like Pinot Noir! Fairly deep ruby red colour. Very bright, fresh, plummy-cranberry nose with some some slightly spicy notes. Dry, medium to medium-light bodied, fairly intense, spicy, tangy, fresh, ripe, crancherry flavours with a lingering, crisp, unoaked finish with an abundance of bright raspberry notes. An appealing, ready to drink, summer refresher that will work really well with anything. This 100% Pinot Noir has 13% alcohol and 5.4 g/L residual sugar with lot number 2018LB0087 on the back label with a screwcap closure. CSPC 13538
