Assessed from a bottle purchased at the LCBO. Very deep intense purple colour. Spicy, bright, youthful, ripe, plummy, black cherry nose with some faintly herbal, mineral-tinged notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, spicy, tangy, youthful, plum-cherry-raspberry flavours with a lingering, high acid, somewhat cedary, mineral-mocha-tinged finish. Has 14.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with a NEW lot number L90052 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Screwcap closure. This is the FOURTH REPEAT of the recommended 2017 (**/**+) was released on February 22, 2020 at $17.95. |
