Assessed from a bottle purchased at the LCBO. Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, fairly cedary, somewhat charry, slightly spicy, mineral-driven, youthful, complex, plum-black-cherry nose with some savoury, black currant notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, harmonious, slightly spicy, bright, intense, ripe plum-cherry-cassis flavours with a lingering, rather cedary, fairly high acid, sandalwood-tinged finish. Estate-grown this totally new blend of only 33% Merlot with a hefty 45% Cabernet Sauvignon and 22% Cabernet Franc has 14% alcohol and 4.1 g/L residual sugar with 5.95 g/L total acidity.
