Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer LE RICHE
Assessed from a bottle supplied by the agent. This December Classics Catalogue release has an xxtremely deep intense purple colour. Complex, slightly spicy, warm, ripe, intense, plum-cherry-cassis nose that has some cedary, very subtle mocha-chocolate notes and a hint of lime leaf. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, dense, harmonious, very ripe, complex, still bright, plum-cassis-cherry fruit flavours with a lingering, mouthfilling, cedar-sandalwood-red-licorice finish. Try with a classic Beef Wellington. Released in the Vintages Classics Collection on December 5, 2019, this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was aged for 24 months in French oak (71% new). It has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number 02217 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Only 4,500 bottles were produced.
