LADYBUG ROSÉ 2018 VQA Niagara Peninsula |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
MALIVOIRE |
Assessed from a bottle of the 2018 purchased at the LCBO. Faintly ambering medium-light orange-salmon colour. Spicy, faintly honeyed, plummy-strawberry nose. Dry, medium-light bodied, spicy, gently juicy, strawberry-plum flavours with a crisp unoaked finish. A pleasant ready-to-drink, crowd-pleaser that has 12% alcohol and 6 g/L residual sugar with lot number 190813 on the lower part of the glass bottle. This Vintages Essential has a $2 LTO until June 21st reducing the price to $14.95 meaning that it is probably worth trying. The 2019 - not tasted - may now also be on the shelves. |
