RED 2016 VQA Niagara Peninsula
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer QUEENSTON MILE
Assessed from a bottle purchased at the LCBO on June 21. Deep intense purple colour. Youthful, bright, ripe, plum-strawberry-cherry nose with a very pleasant hint of oak. Dry, medium bodied, well balanced, ripe, very juicy, plum-cherry-strawberry flavours with a lingering, gently complex, lifted, gently cedary, somewhat earthy, harmonious finish. This intriguing, tasty blend of 51% Syrah, 34% Merlot and 15% Gamay has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with a screwcap closure. New at Vintages. CSPC 11986
