Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer ORTAS
Assessed from a bottle purchased at the LCBO. Deep purple colour. Spicy, complex, faintly earthy, gently juicy, ripe, plum-cherry nose with some cedary notes. Dry, medium bodied, fairly well structured, gently complex, spicy, intense, ripe plum-crancherry purée flavours with a lingering, fairly crisp, slightly cedary, mocha-chocolate-tinged finish. This blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre has 14.5% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number 20028 on the upper part of the glass bottle. CSPC 998716
