CHÂTEAU SIAURAC 2010 AC Lalande de Pomerol
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer
Assessed from a bottle purchased at the LCBO. Extremely deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, very complex, intense, earthy, maturing, savoury, ripe plum-cherry nose with some faintly peppery, sandalwood-cedar notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, very well structured, dense, harmonious, slightly spicy, maturing, intense, very ripe plum-cherry flavours with a slightly peppery, lingering, savoury, herb-tinged, cedary finish. This blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc has a whopping 15% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with a new lot number L6/28.05.12 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Showing nicely and needs a very flavourful match, perhaps a lamb stew. This THIRD REPEAT of the 2010 (not presented) was last released on March 16, 2019 at $45.95. CSPC 309831
