Assessed from a bottle purchased at the LCBO. Intense purple colour. Fairly juicy, spicy, gently cedary, ripe black cherry purée nose with some faintly cedary notes. Fairly dry, medium bodied, bright, ripe, cherry-plum puree flavours with a lingering, slightly cedary, refreshingly crisp, faintly dusty finish. Ready-to-drink. This tasty, crowd-pleasing blend of 85% Monastery and 15% Syrah has 14% alcohol and 7 g/L residual sugar with lot number L-0090 on the back label.
