LE PONNANT CÔTES DU RHÔNE-VILLAGES 2018 Unfiltered, AP |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
LA FERME DU MONT |
Assessed from a bottle purchased at the LCBO. Very deep intense, purple colour. Bight, spicy, expansive, ripe plum-cherry puree nose with some sandalwood, notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, tangy, fairly spicy, intense, ripe plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, gently cedary, crisp finish. Still quite youthful - perfect with roast beef. This solid unfiltered blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre has 14% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L19303/3 on the lower part of the glass bottle. |
