TASTING NOTE: This blend of Touriga Nacional, Jaen and Trincadeira offers lifted aromatics atop dark berry and touches of herbs and spice. The best part here is that this isn't pretending to be anything other than what it is: a well made, approachable, easy-to-enjoy value red. Perfect for casual dining such as pizza or charcuterie, but there's enough complexity here for heftier fare, too. (Vintages panel, April 2019) |
