CHÂTEAU TEYSSIER 2016 AC Montagne-Saint-Émilion
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer
Unable to taste due to LCBO cancellation of the April 4 media tasting. A REPEAT of the 2016 that last appeared in Vintages (**/**+) on November 9, 2019 at $24.95. Here is my previous note: Very deep intense purple red colour. Gently cedary, slightly earthy, youthful, fairly intense, plum nose. Dry, medium bodied, fairly intense, gently complex, ripe, plum-red cherry flavours with a lingering, gently cedary, fairly high acid, red licorice-tinged, faintly bitter finish. This blend of 82% Merlot and 18% Cabernet Franc has 14.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar. Needs time. CSPC 226035
