Assessed from a sample provided by the winery. Medium purple red colour. Bright, very slightly spicy, ripe, plum-crancherry nose with some mineral-tinged, cedar-sandalwood notes. Dry, medium to medium-light bodied, tangy, fresh, elegant, ripe plum-cherry-cranberry flavours with a slightly spicy, lingering, faintly cedary, crisp finish. This VINTAGES ESSENTIAL has 12.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number 320180807 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Screwcap closure. Quite ready to drink. Great with freshly grilled salmon (or trout) and poultry. Has a $2 off LTO until April 26. CSPC 130989
