TASTING NOTE: Medium deep ruby colour with a mature/orange rim. Layered nose, fine perfume of earth, truffle, red berries, cherry, ginger, liquorice and chocolate praline. The palate is dense and ample, still on the youthful side but balanced proportions, high but polished tannin, a fresh acidity and layers of juicy red fruit, flavour intense with a very long and warm finish. Score - 93 (Andreas Larsson, blindtasted.com, Sept. 2018) |
