In France judging the 2020 Concours Mondial du Sauvignon. Here is Tony Aspler’s review. Dense purple-ruby colour; cedary, spicy, plum nose; dry, savoury, slightly herbal, earthy, cherry and fig flavours with lively acidity. This 100% Tempranillo was aged 24 months in barrel and another year in bottle before release. It has 14% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L03019A on the back label. Has not appeared in Vintages before. |
