TASTING NOTE: Deep ruby. Ink and herbs complement dark plum and oaky spices on the nose. Then almost painfully tactile and spicy in the mouth, featuring a peppery quality to the ripe blue and red fruit flavors. Finishes long, with hints of licorice, tar and earth. Impressive full-bodied Aglianico that is well-balanced and dense; this will improve with three more years of bottle age. Well done. Drinking window: 2021-2028. Score - 93 (Ian D'Agata, vinous.com, Nov. 2018) Price $ 25.95
