Of the three red Burgundies featured in the March 7 release, this youthful, fresh 2018 is a Recommended Buy. Fairly deep red colour. Slightly spicy, fragrant, fresh, cherry-raspberry nose with some slight, mineral-sandalwood notes. Dry, medium to medium-light bodied, slightly spicy, fresh, plummy-cherry-raspberry flavours with a crisp, mineral-tinged, fairly high acid, still youthful finish. Has 12.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L1927502 on the back label. Has not appeared in Vintages before. |
