CHÂTEAU SIMARD 2015 AC Saint-Émilion Grand Cru
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer
This remarkably delicious, well-made, underrated Saint-Emilion is a BEST BUY at only $49.95. Extremely deep intense purple colour. Lovely, slightly spicy, complex, intense, ripe, plum-black-cherry fruit on the nose with some gently cedary, sandalwood notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, harmonious, dense, intense, ripe, plum-cherry-cassis flavours with a lingering, high acid, gently cedary, lifted finish. A well-integrated blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc with 14% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number 211019L on the back label.
