This is the BEST BUY of the three red Burgundies featured in this March 7 release. Medium deep purple red colour. Attractive, slightly spicy, sandalwood-tinged, classy, fresh, ripe, plum-cherry-raspberry nose. Dry, medium to medium-light bodied, harmonious, slightly spicy, tangy, fresh, ripe, plum-cherry-raspberry flavours with a lingering, fairly high-acidity, mineral-tinged, still fairly grippy finish. Almost ready to drink but can still evolve. Has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. Not new in Vintages - the recommended 2015 (**/**+) was released on October 13, 2018 at $18.95 (#227983). |

TASTING NOTE: This exceptionally priced wine offers impressive ripe, juicy red fruit, with licorice, spice and forest floor all adding complexity and delight. A no-brainer to pair with duck. (Vintages panel, April 2019) |
