Very deep intense purple colour. Spicy, ripe, plummy, black cherry purée nose with some mocha-chocolate notes. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, slightly spicy, ripe, gently juicy, plummy-black-cherry purée flavours with a lingering, gently cedary, mocha-chocolate-tinged finish. Ready-to-drink. This crowd-pleaser has 14% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number 05917 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Has not appeared in Vintages before. CSPC 12686

TASTING NOTE: Syrah is the biggest production wine at Noble Hill, but we're still talking comparatively small volumes. Blended with a little Mourvèdre and Viognier, this is savoury and appealingly spicy with fine tannins and stylishly integrated 15% new wood. Drink date: 2019-2023.
