Deep intense purple colour. Fairly spicy, cedar-driven spicy, baked, cherry-plum nose. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, fairly spicy, firm, cherry-plum flavours with a lingering, gently cedary, fairly high acid, youthful, faintly bitter finish. Has 14.4% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number 20160411 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Screwcap closure. The 2012 that last appeared in Vintages (**/**+) on August 8, 2015 at $24.95 and was Recommended.
