BRUT SPARKLING Traditional method, DOC Trento, Italy
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer FERRARI
One of 52 items (49% of 106 releases) not presented for evaluation under new LCBO policies. A REPEAT that last appeared in Vintages (***) on November 9, 2019 at $24.95 and was Recommended Best Buy. Here is my previous note: Bright medium straw colour. Dry, very slightly spicy, attractive, fairly complex, ripe lemon-apple nose with some toasty notes. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, bright, ripe lemon-apple meringue flavours with a lingering, very crisp, unoaked, effervescent finish. This 100% Chardonnay has 12.5% alcohol and 7 g/L residual sugar with lot number L8234/21 on the back label. It is made in the classic Champagne method and was disgorged in 2018. CSPC 352153
