Deep purple colour. Bright, slightly spicy, somewhat shy, ripe plum nose with some sandalwood notes. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, tangy, slightly spicy, fairly ripe, plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, crisp, fairly high acid finish. This ready-to-drink blend of 50% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Cabernet Franc has 12.5% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar. A REPEAT of the 2016 that last appeared in Vintages (not presented) on March 16, 2019 at $15.95.
