Bright very deep purple colour. Spicy, youthful, plummy nose with some mineral notes. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, very spicy, bright, fairly ripe, plummy flavours with a lingering, high acid slightly mocha-chocolate-tinged, mineral finish. This ready-to-drink, crowd-pleaser has 14% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L18111384 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Has not appeared in Vintages before. TONY ASPLER / 88.5-points / BEST BUY - Lightly cedary, blackberry nose; medium to full-bodied, richly extracted, sweet black fruit flavours, firmly structured, with lively acidity. |
