TASTING NOTE: Merlot / Cabernet Sauvignon / Cabernet Franc. Wonderfully ripe and beautifully fragrant, the instantly appealing bouquet shows black currant, plum, cedar, cigar and vanilla characters, leading to a concentrated palate that is supple and succulent. The wine displays excellent fruit intensity and vibrancy, beautifully framed by fine, chalky tannins. At its best: now to 2022. Score - 93 (Sam Kim, wineorbit.co.nz, July 2018) |
