TASTING NOTE: This take on California's heritage grape comes from dry-farmed, gnarly head-trained vines ranging from 60 to 80 years of age. Raspberry, plum, chocolate, earth, herbs and vanilla all shine here. Intense and ripe with great freshness, this is a must with rosemary chicken. (Vintages panel, July 2019) |
