Fairly deep intense purple colour. Very spicy, bright, ripe, cherry-plum-raspberry purée nose with some cedary notes. Dry, medium bodied, tangy, spicy, gently juicy, plummy, black cherry flavours with a crisp, gently cedary, raspberry-tinged finish. This crowd-pleaser has 13.5% alcohol with lot number 04/09/2019 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Has not appeared in Vintages before. |

TASTING NOTE: This is a balanced, plush, bold Cabernet that hits all the marks. There's a complex array of aromas and flavours to indulge in, including blueberry, black currant, bramble, baking spice, mocha and graphite. Displaying great tension and backbone, this has the oomph for big dishes such as lamb shanks or venison. (Vintages panel, July 2019) |
