BROTHERS IN WINE PRIMITIVO 2016 IGT Salento |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
Angelo Rocca & Figli |
Deep intense purple colour. Slightly juicy, very ripe, plum-cherry purée nose with some sandalwood notes. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, slightly spicy, gently cedary, very ripe plummy-cherry flavours with a lingering, high acid, sandalwood-tinged finish. Tasty and quite ready-to-drink. This ripe Primativo has 13.5% alcohol and 8 g/L residual sugar. Has not appeared in Vintages before. |
