| Malagousia is a very aromatic white variety that was rescued from near extinction 40 years ago and is grown in north-western Macedonia. This youthful 2024 has a bright medium straw colour with an attractive, intense, very slightly spicy, floral, yellow grapefruit nose with lots of mineral notes. Dry, medium bodied and nicely structured, its slightly spicy, bright, ripe, apple-melon-yellow-grapefruit flavours have a nicely textured, lingering, minerally finish. Perfection with seafood and poultry. it is unoaked and aged \"sur lies\" for two months with 13.5.% alcohol, under 2 g/L residual sugar and lot number L5190 on the capsule. It is the best shipment to date and perfect for holiday sipping. |
