CAYROL VIEILLES VIGNES CARIGNAN 2022 IGP Cotes Catalanes
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer DOMAINE LAFAGE
This 2022 is the fifth Vintages release and the best to date. Deep purple in colour, it has a very attractive, gently spicy, intense, complex, ripe, black-cherry-cassis-raspberry-plum nose with some minerally, sandalwood notes. Dry, medium-plus bodied and nicely textured, the slightly spicy, ripe, cassis-raspberry-plum flavours are followed up with a lingering, bright, gently complex finish. This 100% old-vines Carignan has 14.5% alcohol and under 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number L24068A on the lower part of the glass bottle. Delicious, versatile and ready-to-drink, it will pair very well with bbq ribs, steak and roast beef. CSPC 494039
