Té BHEAG Connoisseurs' Blend, Unchilfiltered |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
Prabàn Na Linne |
First released in Vintages in 2005 and just retasted. It is wonderfully delicious and at a great price - a genuine bargain for Scotch connoisseurs. Bright light amber-orange-gold colour. It has an elegant, very attractive, slightly honeyed, gently smoky, buttered toast nose has some ripe plum-apricot notes. Dry, rich and rounded with intense, warm, ripe, lemony-plum fruit flavours followed up a lingering, bright, perfectly balanced, gently smoky finish. Delightful to drink neat - cool but not too chilled. It has 40% alcohol with a new lot number L16-03-23 on the lower part of the glass bottle. This award-winner is definitely worth a detour. Available in over 300 stores. |

Té Bheag pronounced 'chey vek', not 'tea bag', is bottled without filtration, thus preserving the flavours that are often stripped away when wines or spirits are over filtered. 'Té Bheag', or 'The Little Lady', is the name of the boat on the label and the colloquial Gaelic expression for a 'wee dram'. |
