This new non-Vintages classic French rosé is now available in over 260 stores for the Victoria Day weekend celebrations. It comes in a beautiful designer bottle and has a bright extremely pale salmon colour. Fresh, vibrant, gently spicy, floral, ripe apple aromatics. Dry, elegant, well balanced, very bright, fresh ripe apple flavours with a lingering, crisp, faintly citrus-tinged, mineral finish. This new 2019 French Roussillon Rose is a blend of 50% Mourvedre, 30% Grenache Gris and 20% Grenache with 12.5% alcohol and comes with a convenient recyclable glass stopper and no lot number. Named by Decanter as one of the top 15 “great value rosé choices” with 91-POINTS on April 24, 2020. Tasting Note: Named after an old estate in the heart of Domaine Lafage. The combination of mourvedre and old vine grenache gris is aged in tank before bottling. The result is a pale salmon colour with an elegant bouquet of roses, strawberry and white peach, leading to a clean and pure palate that ends with crisp, refreshing flavours.
