Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer EMILIO LUSTAU
Now a VINTAGES ESSENTIAL. Bright medium-light amber colour. Refined, intense, slightly spicy, rather complex, honeyed-caramel nose with some hints of nuts, plums and raisin. Dry, medium bodied, well structured, slightly spicy, intense, honeyed-caramel flavours with lingering, well balanced, very tangy, bright, ripe plum notes and a zesty lemon-tinged finish. This very classy 100% Palamino works beautifully in the winter when gently chilled and in the summer just slightly cooler. It is born as a Fino but when it sheds its flor it is transformed into a much more complex elixir known as Amontillado. Great with a lobster bisque, smoked salmon and/or mushroom risotto. It has 18.5% alcohol and only 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L8353 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Stunning value, I suggest that you keep it chilled when not in use. CSPC 375097
