|Deep purple colour. Slightly spicy, ripe plum-cherry-raspberry nose with some gentle licorice-sandalwood notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, quite well structured, spicy, ripe plum flavours with a fairly crisp, sandalwood-licorice-tinged, high acid finish. Quite ready-to-drink. This tasty ORGANIC red has 14.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar. A REPEAT of the 2017 that was released on July 20, 2019. TONY ASPLER / 90-points / BEST BUY - Deep purple colour; cedary, floral nose of blackberries and dark chocolate with vanilla oak notes; medium to full-bodied, dry, richly extracted mulberry flavour with balancing acidity. |TASTING NOTE: Medium to full-bodied, with excellent ripeness and concentration, the 2017 Cotes du Rhone boasts assertive blueberry and blackberry fruit.
